This Sunday, during worship at 10.30 a.m., the Sacrament of Baptism will be celebrated. After the service, please join us for coffee in the Walkround.
There will be an act of worship at 4.30 p.m. at Schaw Court.
At evening worship at 6.30 p.m. in the chapel, we are looking at Assembly papers 2 – “The Market-Place”. On Monday evening Ynk meets in the Lounge, Old Halls. The theme is 'Prayer: The 3Ws'”. The Evening Guild meets on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. in the Main Hall, New Halls, at 7.30 p.m. Chris Reid is talking about the “Police Dogs”. On Wednesday, the Prayer Group meets at 9.30 a.m. in the Main Hall, New Halls. There will be a mid-week service in the Kirk at noon. This will be followed by lunch in the Main Hall. There will be no Vestry Hour. The NK Ramblers are off on a moderately easy walk to the Pool of Muckhart, Dollar, this Wednesday. See the notice board in the Walkround for more details. The Evening Bible Study Group meets on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. in the Lounge, Old Halls. The NK Coffee Pot is open on Friday at 10.30 a.m. Bring a friend, make a friend around this coffee table! Next Sunday morning, there will be an Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 10.45 a.m. Morning worship at the Kirk will begin at 11.30 a.m. Please note the change of time. Coffee will be available from 10.30.a.m. – 11.15 a.m. There will be a retiring offering for Poppy Scotland immediately after morning worship. That evening at 6.30.p.m. in the Kirk, the Choir will be performing a “Mass for Four Voices” by William Byrd. On Sunday 15th November, there will be an opportunity to see the film “The Age of Stupid” at 2 p.m. in the Main Hall, New Halls. The film provides important background to the present crisis in the abuse of the Earth’s resources. Tickets cost £5 to cover the cost of the film. Hospitality will be provided. Tickets are available on Sundays and via the Church office. Christmas cards are available in the Walkround and at the bookstall each Sunday.
